"NHK Creative Library" is a new service where individuals can create their own video projects using NHK's large and high quality videos.

At the experimental corner, our video editing tool for kids, LoiLo Education, was being used.

e-School 2009 took place this year as well. e-School is an event where a wide variety of educational studies are introduced, and children are able to use computers and the internet hands on. Various demonstrations and a lecture from the leader of ICT education also took place.

At the booths where many new ICT educational equipment, digital contents and software are introduced, we displayed our educational version of LoiLoScope created with NHK, LoiLo education.

LoiLo participated at the "Windows 7 Fair", an event where the functions and possibilities of Windows 7 are shown off.

At this event where many large corporations participate, our LoiLo Touch, which includes Nvidia's GPU acceleration and multi-touch operation, was demonstrated and received lots of positive responses.

LoiLoTouch was introduced at the Windows 7 Launch Party held on October 22nd, the day of the release of Microsoft's newest OS Windows 7.

Steven Sinofsky, president of Windows and Windows Live Division, introduced the characteristics of Windows 7 and did a demonstration of the multi-touch display using LoiLoTouch.

This year’s GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION was held at the Design HUB in Tokyo Midtown, exhibition the designs that received the 2009 Good Design Award. The Good Design Award is organized by the JIDPO (Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization) and has been recognizing outstanding designs for over 50 years.
Because this award is highly recognized by the Japanese public, many companies and designers from Japan and neighboring countries participate. Displayed at the exhibition were 80 designs that were selected from the awarded or received an extremely high evaluation.

LoiLoScope was awarded the Good Design Award of Small and Medium Enterprises 2009, and has exhibited LoiLo Touch which can be operated by directly touching the display of the computer.

Computex Taipei is the largest computer expo in Asia and the second largest in the world. This event, which gathers the attention of people all over the world, was held for the 29th time from June 2nd to the 6th in 4 different sites within Taipei. The 2009 exhibition consisted of 1,712 exhibitors from all over the world and 4,498 booths. LoiLo Inc. was introduced as a CUDA implemented movie editing software with the prominent GPU brand, NVIDIA, and received extremely high evaluations.

At the NVIDIA press stage on June 1st, the day before Computex 2009 Taipei, Super LoiLoScope Venus was introduced by 2 general managers of NVIDIA and Microsoft during the demonstration of Windows 7’s Windows Touch. The demonstration of Super LoiLoScope included demos of illustrating images and writing messages directly onto videos using the display of the PC, and also the quick and easy editing of full HD videos using CUDA from NVIDIA. The presentation which included demonstrations of many new ideas caught the attention of the media from all around the world.

From the year 2000, IPA created the Unexplored Software Creation Project to find and recognize superior software developers as a “Super Creator”. At the end of every project, the developers who have the highest evaluations are chosen by the product manager as the “Super Creator”.

At IPAX 2009, the Super Creator Award Ceremony for the chosen software developers of 2008 will be held.
