How to use the timeline

Create animation: video moving within the timeline

You may create an animation where the video is moving about within the timeline both free-handedly or by using the key frame. This will allow you to create a master pieace like never before!

Create animation: Free-handedly

Select the timeline bar, and from the source in the effect tray, turn on the animation layer by pressing the “Apply animation” button to start recording. On the timeline, the screen will appear smaller. (This will come into handy when moving the clip out of the screen. Your work will be exported according to the size on the timeline setting.)
You may maximize/minimize, rotate, or shift freely (Use the shift key to move it straight.) There is an animation map for each action. You will have to work with one animation at a time, return and follow along with the second action.
Moving the clip during pause mode will create a key frame and will automatically shift the animation from the previous animation to the key frame.

To view normally, click outside of the timeline once and then click the timeline.

To restart animation, turn off the animation recorder button and double click on the line outlining the clip to set it back to the original position.

Create smooth animation: Key frames
By using the key frames, you will be able to create a smooth animation action. Pause at the starting point of the animation. Click on the “Add Key Frame” icon in the animation map to create the key frame. Next, pause video at the ending point of the animation and create another key frame. Adjust video and include rotation if there are rotation movements. The movie should animate itself smoothly from the starting point to the end point.

Keyboard shortcut
Space key: Play/Pause video
Shift key: Hold down shift key while moving the video in order to move straight.
