How to use the timeline

 

Transparency/Transition Control

 
 

Volume and transparency/transition Control is automatically set at original setting for video files, which may be controlled manually. Switch to manual mode to edit during preview.

Select the timeline bar you wish to edit and you should see a pink icon on the bottom right of the bar next to the green fade and volume control icon. Click this “Open Transparency/Transition control button” to open and view 3 controllers. The icon with 3 vertical lines, the pink line, and the pink arrow. Click on "Set to manual" for manual mode.

The Icon with 3 vertical lines indicates where the transition point ends by adjusting it horizontally. The pink arrow will set the transition level at starting point by moving it vertically.
Ex) set the arrow at the very bottom (see-through level) and the 3 lined icon 3 seconds after the starting point. Transparency level will increase in 3 seconds from level 0.
If the arrow position is set higher than the lined icon, transparency level will decrease towards see-through level.

Set the beginning of the fade out location by moving the 3 lined icon horizontally. The pink arrow will indicate the transparency level at the end point. Set the arrow below the 3 lined icon to have it gradually decrease towards see through level.

Adjust the pink line vertically to control transparency level from 0 to 100%. You may view the video clearly at level 100%.
