Q: Does the annual license require renewal payment every year?

A: Yes. You will have to renew the license annually. This allows us to develop and improve the quality of our products.

Q: For the Mac version, is the IntelPC version separate from the PowerPC version?

A: The Mac version is compatible with both IntelPC and PowerPC. A single license allows installation on either Windows, Mac (IntelPC or PowerPC). You need separate licenses for each work station.

Q: Are there discounts for bulk purchases, such as for business and academic customers?

A: We have a discount packages, starting at 5 Licenses. The cost of a single license is reduced from 19,800 yen to 13,650 yen!! Please see here for details. For business and academic customers, we have a product that allows multiple licenses to be managed from a single file. Q: What purchase methods are available?

A: You can purchase online (payment by credit card or bank transfer), by email (payment by bank transfer) or corporate transaction using an invoice.

Q: How can I renew my license?

A: Users who have made an online purchase can renew their licenses online. For corporate clients who have made invoiced purchases, please email info@loilo.tv with your company name, the name of the person in charge of the transaction and the number of licenses you require. (Licenses must be renewed annually).

Q:Is Smooth compatible with Adobe AfterEffects 6.5?

A:Yes, it is compatible.

Q:Do the Smooth effects in the AE Project file created with the Smooth Beta version need to be replaced after upgrading to the Smooth full version?

A:There is no need to replace the effects. The Project file created with the Smooth Beta version can be used without any issues.

Q:Does Smooth operate in the Windows 2000 XP Multi-user environment (will the license be recognized) without any issues?

A:Since only one license per workstation is required, you can use Smooth within the Multi-user environment without any issues. However, you will be required to install (Drag & Drop) the license key file for each user.

Q:What exactly is contained in the Smooth AE Rendering Engine Version license? Is there any functional limitation compared to the standard version?

A:The Smooth AE Rendering Engine Version license is a license specifically to be used with the AE Rendering Engine and gives access to an unlimited number of workstations. To use Smooth in Adobe AfterEffects requires a license for individual workstations.

Q:If I purchase the AE Rendering Engine Version license, is it possible to apply Smooth to the layers without using the Smooth standard version license?

A:The Smooth AE Rendering Engine Version license is used specifically for the AE Rendering Engine. With the Smooth AE Rendering Engine Version license, you cannot use Smooth in Adobe AfterEffects. You will require the standard version license.

Q:Even if the local machine already has the Smooth standard version license installed, is the Smooth AE Rendering Engine Version license required to do a batch render in AE Rendering Engine?

A:If the workstation environment has the Smooth standard version license installed, it can also be used as an AE Rendering Engine workstation.
If you are going to render on a workstation without the Smooth standard version license installed, the Smooth AE Rendering Engine Version license is required.

Q:Can the license be transferred between workstations?

A:The license can be transferred easily. Uninstall Smooth from the current workstation and reinstall Smooth on the new workstation, followed by the installation of the license key file.

Q:The license serial key has been lost. What should I do?

A:If you have purchased the license key online, it is possible to download the key file from MYPAGE at any time by logging in. For corporate clients who purchased the license key using mail invoicing, we can reissue the serial key to the registered delivery email address.
