If you have Smooth beta version installed, ensure you uninstall it before installing the full version.

'Click here to download Smooth installer' to download and save it to your system.

Double-click the downloaded 'SmoothSetup.msi' and follow the instructions to install.

The Smooth installation is complete.

If the installer does not start up.
Perform Windows Update and install the Windows installer.

Go to My Page and download the serial key file 'Key XXX .smooth' and save it to your system.

Start up Adobe After Effects.

Select LoiLo Smooth from the Effects menu.

Click on 'licence' option inside the Effects window.
This will activate the Smooth licence management window.

Drag & drop the downloaded licence file into the Smooth licence
management window.

If it has been successfully accepted, the number of licences and their validity will display underneath the Smooth logo at the top right of the window.

If licence has not been accepted
Check the licence file 'Key XXX .smooth' and drag & drop into the Smooth licence management window again.

If you have not purchased the licence or require to renew it, click on the 'Purchase or renew your licence' button inside the Smooth licence management window.

AE Rendering Engine Version Smooth and the standard versions use the same installer. Follow the standard installation procedure.

You cannot install the serial key from the GUI for the After Effects Render Engine. The license key needs to be copied to the designated directory.

Open Windows Explore and enter
'%AppData%'
in the address field.

This opens the default directory.

XP C:/Documents and Settings/Username/Application Data/
Vista C:/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming/

The path to the applications data folder can be confirmed by entering the following command
'echo %AppData%'
from the Command Prompt.

Create a new folder named LoiLo inside the directory opened in step1.

Copy the downloaded serial key file 'Key XXX .smoothRenderEngine' inside the new folder.

Rename the serial key file to 'licence.smooth'.
